Cancer: a bad thing? Discuss.

David Stewart, the owner of the Canon's Gait, and his wife are cycling from London to Paris to raise money for Teenage Cancer. Actually, I think they mean 'against', not 'for'. Nothing to do with the teen-scaring audio devices in the news recently.

Anyway, I have pledged some money on my own behalf, and invite any other Free Fringers motivated to do likewise.

This isn't a violation of our principle "no charges to the artists, even voluntary ones". It's not a Free Fringe charge; it's a contribution to a completely independent charity.

This is David Stewart's email:

My wife Susan and I are cycling from London to Paris in June
to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Any donation however small much appreciated.

Please click on the just giving site above.

Perhaps the funniest thing about this trip will be the
colour of my posteriour!
