No more burlesque at the Free Fringe

How shall the Free Fringe be organised and run in the future?

No more burlesque at the Free Fringe

I have heard concerns that Burlesque entertainment is going to be disallowed next year or sometime in near future because it is sexist. Anyone care to elaborate?

There has been no change of policy.
Every show is considered on its merits.

No, there hasn't been a change of policy...yet. So are you saying that banning burlesque because it's sexist is not on the table whatsoever?

I am informed by Peter, as chair of the Free Fringe comittee, that he can see no grounds for a change of policy.
One of our members, Luke Meredith, has also volunteered to co-ordinate cabaret and burlesque shows for next year.
I think we can safely state that there is no intention to drop burlesque from the Free Fringe.
