THE VENUE: Globe Bar on Niddry Street

THE PERFORMANCE AREA:
There was a small stage which was comfortable for one. The performance room is in a room at the end of the bar, closed off from the main bar by a curtain.

TECHNICAL SET-UP AT THE VENUE:
There was a small PA, which was loud enough to fill the room.

STAFF AT THE VENUE:
The staff at the Globe were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, helpful even when they were very busy.

ADVERTISING:
Lots of flyering on the Royal mile and Niddry Street pre show. Wee Blue Book invaluable as always. Location made it easy for a lot of audience members

AUDIENCE NUMBERS:
Generally about 20 or so a day with the numbers growing to 50-60 at the weekends. At it's busiest I was turning people away.

BUCKETS:
Great buckets. People were generous.

ADMIN & COMMUNICATION BETWEEN FREE FRINGE, CAPTAINS & VENUES:
Good, our venue captain was always around, checking in. He was a friendly and visible presence at the venue and was easily contactable if needed.
Fellow performers were a great support and always felt like we were helping each other out. Great atmosphere.

I loved the Globe. This was my fifth time with PBH and the Globe was again fantastic and brilliant!
