Postby LaughKingston » 12 Sep 2014, 10:42

From 23rd - 36th October, Laugh Kingston will be hosting four fab nights filled with laugher. Shows range from family-friendly comedy, something for the grown-ups, and a ladies night. There will be ticket prices to fit all budgets, and all profits from ticket sales will be donated to Love Kingston. We are so excited about this year's lineup, already securing some amazing performers, which include 5 star Edinburgh Festival shows! We are still looking for performers, so if you'd like to be a part of the festival please fill in the submission form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1s-PBK-a18TG3FXulQjWRAmKRaiW0Z55VJUHZDMFxzOY/viewform?usp=send_form.

We are confident that this annual event is just going to get bigger and better each year, bringing some incredible, top-quality performers right to your door! You can find out exactly what is in store, and keep updated on news and upcoming show listings, by following http://www.facebook.com/kingstoncomedyfestival and http://www.twitter.com/LaughKingston or on our website http://www.kingstoncomedyfestival.com.

We've also launched a Sponsume project where anyone can donate as little as £1 to the cause, and earn some fantastic rewards! Please visit: http://www.sponsume.com/project/laugh-kingston-comedy-festival-2014.
We hope to generate £16,500, and after event costs, all proceeds will be donated to the Love Kingston campaign.

Laugh Kingston started last year after John Gower (Omni Local) found a new way to raise money for the community. With the help of Dan Adams (Wildcard Events), the two set out to host Kingston's first official, annual comedy festival. Even never having hosted anything like this before, from a standing start, with no money, the festival managed to raise £1000for the Love Kingston campaign.

The Love Kingston fundraising campaign is part of Kingston Voluntary Action's (KVA's) transforming Kingston's Infrastructure project; funded by The Big Fund on behalf of the Office for Civil Society. The Love Kingston team strives to help all vulnerable people living in the Kingston area. You can find out more information at http://www.love-kingston.org.uk
