20:40 - Adam Drake and Charlie Lyons share an hour

We did a show for the final week of the Fringe: a stand-up comedian for half an hour, then a one-man sketch-show for half an hour. Audience numbers varied massively, from one on our final day, to twenty or so for the fourth performance. The 'backstage area' was very spacious and helpful, and I think it would be more than enough for a group of people going on and off stage, in, say, a sketch group. The lights were set up in a way that the audience could be seen by the performers, which was fine for us, but I know some performers don't like. The room is a great size, front on, comfortable seats, but the ceiling is a little low. It's near Princes Street, so you tend not to get a lot of footfall, especially starting at 8.40pm like we did. We didn't see too much of the other performers in the venue, but they were lovely and helpful at every juncture. Thanks for having us, Chiquito!
