- The venue -
A local Pub in a good location for fringe goers but not passers-by

- The performance area - stage, separate room, open air?
The room is seperate at the back of the pub. This can be quite difficult to access for audience members when the bar is very busy.
There isn't a stage but enough room to perform in adequately. We managed to fit 4 or 5 of us onstage.
The lighting is ok. AT least it is bright enough for the audience to see you.
As with other comments there is only a curtain and no door to the space. It would seriously benefit from a proper door but it was easy enough to perform with some noise from the bar. Didn't happen too often.
Only seats 30-odd people and the seating were mostly church pews so could cram in some more. Didn't take too many people to make it seem busy which was nice.

- The team of staff at the venue - did they assist the shows? Did the show get in the way of the normal business etc?
The staff at the Southsider were brilliant. Can't say any more. Always helpful and friendly and seemed to enjoy having us there.

- How you advertised your show - Fringe brochure, flyering, posters, word of mouth etc
Mostly word of mouth. Were in both the main brochure and free fringe one.

- How your shows went in terms of audience numbers -
The time was difficult for numbers during the week and we cancelled one or two shows due to lack of audience.

- Your show itself - what worked, what didn't work, what needs to change
IT WAS THE BEST SHOW EVER PERFORMED. Well, it was alright.

- Buckets - we don't need accounts, but how were the donations to the buckets - bad, good, generous
Donations were fairly generous overall although we had quite low numbers most days.

- Technical set-up at the venue - what worked, what didn't work, what needs to change
Some shows got very hot when the room was full

- Admin & Communication process (between Free Fringe, Captains, Venues and you) -
All worked very well and the venue captain was superb.

- Any other learning points for anyone involved - what worked, what didn't work, what needs to change
